Arsenal confirm new squad number for Alex Iwobi and Aaron Ramsey ahead of next season

Arsenal have confirmed new squad numbers for XhaKa, Sanchez,Iwobi and Aaron Ramsey ahead of next season. 

New Arsenal signing Granit Xhaka will wear the No.16 shirt next season. 

The former Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder will wear the number which Aaron Ramsey has donned in recent years. 

As a result, Ramsey has switched to No.8, which is been vacated by retiring club Captain Mikel Arteta. 

Arsenal have also confirmed one more shirt number change. Nigerian International Alex Iwobi, former No.45, will wear Alexis Sanchez's old No.17 shirt. 

Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez will wear the iconic no.7 Jersey , last worn by departing club legend Tomas Rosicky.
