Thierry Henry says Manchester City are the heavy favourites to win the Premier League title this season.
It has been the perfect start to the new campaign for new manager Pep Guardiola at The Etihad after coaching his side to five successive Premier League games to leave them top of the table on 15 points.
Manchester City have produced a number of eye-catching displays under their new manager, including their impressive performance at Old Trafford to claim a derby victory over Manchester United earlier in the month.
City thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 on Saturday to maintain their 100 per cent start to the new season.
And Henry, who played under Guardiola at Barcelona, believes that City will take some stopping in the race for the title this season.
Speaking on Sky Sports on Sunday, Henry said:
“They will keep getting better, it will take something special to stop them being champions.“They destroyed Bournemouth and if it wasn’t for the mistake of Claudio Bravo against Manchester United they might have had a better second half and the score would have been heavier.“They don’t have that many new signings in their starting line-up.“But, there is a different attitude in what is being asked and what the manager wants from them.
