Arsenal submit £25m bid for Premier League star forward

Arsenal have tabled a £25m bid to sign Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez this summer, according to reports. 

The gunners have been heavily linked with a number of players in recent days as Arsene Wenger bids to revamp his squad ahead of next season. 

Arsenal triggered the £20m release clause in Jamie Vardy’s contract, and are also trying to lure his team-mate Mahrez to the Emirates. 

According to the Daily Express, Arsenal have lined up a £25m bid to bring the PFA Player of the Year to the club. 

The same story goes on to say that Arsenal officials met up Mahrez’s representatives a number of times to make sure he’s open to the move before tabling a bid. 

The 25-year-old scored 17 goals and made 10 assists for Leicester last season.
