Granit Xhaka drops massive hint over Arsenal transfer

Arsenal target Granit Xhaka has revealed that his future will be resolved before the start of Euro 2016 amid reports that the Switzerland midfielder will join the gunners. 

The gunners have been heavily linked with a move for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder in the past week as Arsene Wenger aims to make significant improvements to his squad ahead of a title challenge next season. 

Monchengladbach are thought to be demanding in the region of 30million for their prized asset, which would make Xhaka the third-most expensive signing of all-time for the Gunners behind big-name stars Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. 

Ahead of the Euros, Granit Xhaka have dropped a big hint that his future has already been decided ahead of a move away from Monchengladbach this summer. 

“The circle has been closed,” Xhaka told Bild. “There are now daily conversations and there will definitely be a decision before the European Championships. 

“I played my first competitive match for Borussia in the cup in Darmstadt. Four wonderful years followed. 

"Now, possibly, my last game in Darmstadt again – the circle has virtually been closed.”

Xhaka has scored three times in 27 Bundesliga appearances so far this season, while he has made one assist in five Champions League games.
