On what was meant to be an historic night for Liverpool Football Club, they slumped to a disappointing 3-1 defeat against Sevilla in the Europa League final.
Blame was largely placed on Alberto Moreno for his disappointing and costly performance, while manager Jurgen Klopp insisted he was at fault for his side’s loss.
Klopp believes anyway that no less than four "decisive decisions" hurt his side against Sevilla.
“Today there were four decisive, obvious decisions and all were against us,” he said, per Sky Sports.
“In a final when it’s close you need a little luck and we didn’t have it. If it was 2-0 at half-time it’s different."
The four calls Klopp refers to were three handball shouts inside the penalty area in the first half and an offside decision that led to Coke’s all-important third goal.
