Mesut Ozil set to become Arsenal’s first £200,000-a-week player

Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is confident Mesut Ozil will sign a new deal this summer, which would be a huge boost for the club. 

Ozil has got two years left on his current £140,000-a-week deal, which already makes him the highest paid Arsenal player. 

However,With add-ons and bonuses, the new deal will amount to £200k-a-week and prove the club’s ambition to keep the Germany International. 

It is understood Arsenal believe the deal will get signed, with Wenger already claiming he is “confident” that Ozil will put pen to paper.
