West Ham close to signing Besiktas forward Gokhan Tore in £13m deal

Premier League outfit West Ham are on the verge of completing a £13.3million deal for Besiktas star Gokhan Tore. 

West Ham have been in talks with the Turkish club since the start of May as they continued to haggle over the winger's price. 

The Hammers initially submitted an offer of £11.5m for the 24-year-old, which fell short of the £15m Besiktas were hoping to receive. 

However, the two clubs have agreed to meet in the middle by shaking hands on a £13.3m deal. 

Tore, who spent two years with Chelsea during his youth career, is now finalising personal terms with West Ham. 

They are expected to be a formality, however, and the transfer could be announced as early as Wednesday.
