Besiktas interested in signing Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli

Liverpool are desperate to offload Italy International Mario Balotelli to Besiktas, according to reports. 

Mario Balotelli has been looking for a new club since AC Milan opted not to sign him when his loan spell ended last month and the striker's agent Mino Raiola says Besiktas are keen. 

Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola claims Besiktas president Fikret Orman has told him he wants to sign the 25-year-old, who cost Liverpool £16million from Milan two years ago. 

"I offered Mario to Besiktas and I'm waiting for their answer," he told Spox.com.tr 

"But I'm quite sure the transfer will happen, as the president already assured me in the past that he would do everything he can to sign him."
