Former Liverpool and Denmark defender Daniel Agger has announced his retirement from football after an injury-hit spell with Brondby.
Agger, played for Liverpool between 2006 and 2014 before returning to first club Brondby on a two-year contract after suffering with fitness issues.
The return to his homeland brought no real improvement, though, and the centre-back has now announced his retirement.
