Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez has admitted that he could end up leaving the foxes in the summer transfer window amid speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal.
Riyad Mahrez won plenty of applauds last season as his sparkling displays for Leicester City helped Claudio Ranieri’s men win the Premier League title.
The Algerian was voted as the PFA player of the year as he helped to inspire the Foxes to the top-flight crown.
Arsenal have tabled a £20m bid to bring Jamie Vardy to Emirates Stadium this summer, and some reports have claimed that the Gunners are also pondering a move for Mahrez.
Now, the player himself has commented on the speculation, although it appears that he has not yet made up his mind about next season.
Speaking at a Nike event in Paris , Mahrez said:
“The season went very well. “As you know, we have won the league which was very important. It is incredible. It was by far my best season in my career.“It is flattering to hear (about links to other clubs), as I said nothing is agreed, nothing is done.“For the moment I have not made a decision. We will see. It is possible that I stay, it is possible that I leave. We will see.”
