Premier League outfit Everton have confirmed the appointment of Southampton boss Ronald Koeman as their new manager.
Ronald Koeman has signed a three-year contract with Everton after leaving Southampton following two years in charge.
The Dutchman joined the Saints in 2014, and led them to a seventh-placed finish in his first season in charge before going one better in 2015-16 as he secured qualification for the Europa League group stages.
Koeman replaces Roberto Martinez who was sacked in May after leading the Goodison Park outfit to 11th in the Premier League and the worst home record in the club's history.
The new Everton coach Ronald Koeman expressed his excitement at joining the Merseyside outfit.
“I believe in the club, in the team, in the fans and in our ability to achieve things in the future," he told Everton's official website.“Everton is a club with a great history and real ambition and it is a proud feeling for me to be part of what we want to go and do, together with the chairman and Farhad Moshiri.“I am looking forward to meeting everyone at the club and to preparing for a big season in the Premier League.
