Otto the Octopus predicts successful Euro 2016 group stage for England

England will lose their opening game of Euro 2016 to Russia on Saturday, according to the prediction powers of Otto the Octopus. 

However, things are to improve for England as the Octopus predicted wins over Wales in Lens on June 16th before another victory against Slovakia in Saint-Etienne to send them through Group B. 

“Otto has been so lively since she arrived, playing with things in her tank,” aquarium curator Dan McLaughlan said. 

“She quickly got into the spirit and put her intelligence to the test, unfortunately predicting Russia’s win in the first game.”
