Watford reject £20million Leicester bid for Troy Deeney

Troy Deeney wants to join Leicester after seeing a £20million bid rejected from the champions. 

The Watford Captain is caught in the middle of a transfer battle with the Hornets insisting he is not for sale. 

Watford are prepared to dig their heels in as they feel they have stood by the 27-year-old forward - even after he was sent to prison four years ago. 

The Premier League champions Leicester offered £15million plus add-ons for Deeney, who performed impressively for Watford last season with 15 goals in all competitions. 

Deeney now wants to play Champions League football under Claudio Ranieri, but Watford feel that with four years left on his contract they are under no pressure to sell.
