Arsenal are ready to spend up to £60m on signing a new striker in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The gunners have inevitably been linked with a host of players this summer but have thus far only signed Granit Xhaka ,Takuma Asano and Rob Holding.
Arsene Wenger appears to have already signalled his intention to bring in a new striker in the summer transfer window with the club’s failed bid to sign Jamie Vardy from Leicester City before Euro 2016.
Now, according to Top reports, Arsenal chiefs held a meeting this week to plot a bid for a striker as Wenger looks to bolster his attacking options.
Arsenal have a top target in mind, but that the player’s identity is only known by those high up at the club.
