Arsenal told to bid £21million for Valencia defender

Arsenal have been told to cough up £21million if they want to prise Shkodran Mustafi away from Valencia. 

The Gunners are in desperate need of a defender after Per Mertesacker was ruled out for several months with a knee injury. 

Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has now promised to dip into the transfer market and the club have been linked with a number of targets. 

According to reports in spain, Arsenal are in talks with Valencia as they try to thrash out a deal for Mustafi. 

Wenger is a fan of the Germany international and the Spanish club are willing to agree a sale if their £21million asking price is met.
