Leicester City star agrees £42m Arsenal move

Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez has agreed a €50 million (£41.8m) move to Arsenal, according to Eurosport. 

Mahrez was voted PFA Premier of the Year last season after scoring 17 goals and adding a further 11 assists in the league and is now on course to leave in a big-money move. 

Following N'Golo Kante's £30m move to Chelsea, Claudio Ranieri insisted earlier in the week that Mahrez was happy at Leicester City as he moved to allay fears of another key player leaving. 

However, the report claims Mahrez is now set to join Arsenal for a fee close to what Arsene Wenger paid for Mesut Ozil three years ago.
