OFFICIAL: Steve Bruce leaves Hull City

Steve Bruce has left his role as manager of Hull City, Sportsblog360 understands. 

The 55-year-old, who led Hull City back to the Premier League with Championship play-off success in May, departs the club just three weeks before their season opener against champions Leicester City. 

Steve Bruce did not take training on Friday and he has handed in his resignation at the KC Stadium. 

The former Sunderland boss leaves after four years, following his appointment in June 2012, and reports suggest he was disillusioned with the lack of additions made to his injury-hit squad ahead of the new campaign.
