Stoke City bid £20m for West Brom striker Saido Berahino

Stoke City coach boss Mark Hughes has confirmed the club have made a move for Saido Berahino. 

The Potters are in the market for a new striker and are understood to have tabled an offer worth £20m for the West Brom man. 

West Brom have yet to respond to the bid, but Hughes is hopeful of getting a deal done for the 22-year-old. 

Speaking on Tuesday, Mark Hughes said of Stoke's interest in Berahino: "We've put bids in. As we stand, those haven't been accepted yet, but we are still hopeful on that one."
