Arsenal are targeting Swansea centre-half Federico Fernandez, according to The Sun on Sunday.
A long-term injury to Per Mertesacker has left the Gunners short of defensive options and Wenger is now eyeing Fernandez as a replacement.
The Argentine signed for Swansea in an £8 million deal in 2014, having spent the previous three years with Napoli, and would want at least £10m if they were to sell this summer.
