Chelsea turn attention to Sunderland defender Kone

Chelsea are eyeing a move for Sunderland defender Lamine Kone, according to the Daily Mail. 

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly remains Antonio Conte's main defensive target, but the Italian is now beginning to look elsewhere as the new Premier League season draws near. 

Kone - who is also wanted by Everton in the wake of John Stones's departure to Manchester City - impressed for the Black Cats as they retained their Premier League status in dramatic fashion.
