Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been heavily linked with a move back to Spain.
According to reports by the Dailymail, Real Madrid are reportedly interested in taking the playmaker back to his homeland.
Fabregas has been linked with a shock move to the Bernabeu since the arrival of Chelsea manager Antonio Conte in the summer.
Speculation over the 29-year-old's future has intensified after Fabregas was an unused substitute in Monday's 2-1 triumph over West Ham at Stamford Bridge.
Rather than denying that the Spain International is a potential transfer target, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane suggested that any possible deal would be 'difficult' for the club.
"If you want to put another central midfielder into the mix then it becomes complicated"Zidane told reporters"Cesc is a great player but it is not very straightforward,""I am going to end up with a squad where three or four players do not get selected. To therefore put another player in there makes it difficult."
