Swansea defender Ashley Williams set to agree £12m move to Everton

Everton will return with an improved bid for Ashley Williams on Tuesday as Ronald Koeman looks to find a replacement for John Stones - with a £12m deal set to be agreed. 

The Swansea captain is keen for a new challenge and his club are expected to accept the fresh terms offered by Everton after rejecting a £10m bid last week. 

The 31-year-old is understood to be signing a four-year deal at Goodison Park, as the club look to strengthen strengthen ahead of the new season.
