Bastian Schweinsteiger plays golf with Ana Ivanovic after latest Jose Mourinho snub

Bastian Schweinsteiger spent the afternoon at a Cheshire golf club with his new wife Ana Ivanovic as his Manchester United team-mates flew to Holland. 

Schweinsteiger has been cast aside by Mourinho and was understood to have been officially written off to the tune of £6.7million in the club’s recent annual revenue results. 

According to a statement from the accounts, the fee that is believed to be for Schweinsteiger is "related to a registrations' impairment charge regarding a reduction in the carrying value of a player no longer considered to be a member of the first team playing squad”.
