Joey Barton banished from Rangers training after latest row

Joey Barton has been banished from Rangers training after a row with teammates and coaching staff following the club's Old Firm hammering on Saturday. 

Rangers were beaten 5-1 by Celtic at Parkhead, and the fallout has seemingly caused problems with Barton not returning to the training ground for 48 hours. 

The midfielder is not expected to resume training until next week, and is set to miss the Ibrox giants' home clash with Ross County on Saturday. 

The 34-year-old moved to Rangers in the summer on a free transfer from Burnley after helping the Clarets to promotion from the Championship. 

He has made seven appearances for the 54-time Scottish champions so far in all competitions, but his career north of the border could already be in doubt. 

Barton reportedly clashed with teammate Andy Halliday in particular, with boss Mark Warburton deciding to take action.
