Mauricio Pochettino is one of the best managers in the world - Pep Guardiola

Premier League leaders City go to White Hart Lane on Sunday to face second-placed Spurs in the match of the season so far. 

Guardiola has lost to Pochettino before when they went head-to-head in Spain and Pochettino’s guided Espanyol to a first win over Barca in 27 years back in 2009. 

Guardiola has admitted: “We played against each other as players then coaches and I don't think he's one of the best managers in England, he's one of the best in the world. 

“I enjoy watching Tottenham play now. Since last year he has been doing an amazing job. The way they play I like. 

“He is aggressive and he has a lot of quality players and the basis of the national team – Dier, Alli, Kane. 

“They are playing at a high level and in second position so it will be a tough game. I'm looking forward to going to White Hart Lane for the first time in my life. 

“If I wouldn't be a coach and would just be a fan or a young coach wanting to become a coach, I would see Tottenham and say I want to play in that way.
