Michael Owen states his prediction for Arsenal vS Chelsea Clash

Michael Owen is tipping Arsenal to be held to a draw by Chelsea in Saturday’s Premier League showdown at The Emirates. 

Arsenal head into the game on the back of three successive victories in the top flight after having bounced back from the disappointment of their opening weekend defeat by Liverpool at The Emirates. 

Chelsea, meanwhile, are aiming to return to winning ways after Antonio Conte’s men were sent crashing to their first Premier League defeat of the season by Liverpool earlier in the month.

Arsenal were 4-1 winners at Hull City last weekend and also booked their place in the fourth round of the League Cup in style by thrashing Nottingham Forest 4-0 on Tuesday night. 

However, former Liverpool and Manchester United star Owen is tipping the London clubs to share the spoils at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon. 

Writing in his column for Bet Victor, Owen said: 

“It seems almost inconceivable that Arsenal have failed to score in their last six Premier League games against their west London rivals and I can see the Gunners having to settle for a point in a game that has had its fair share of flashpoints in recent years. 

“Cesc Fabregas gave Antonio Conte a gentle nudge midweek with his two goals at the King Power Stadium and the former Gooner will be desperate for a start against his former club. It promises to be an absolute cracker.”
