Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is growing increasingly concerned about the slow injury recovery of Aaron Ramsey.
Ramsey, who has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury on the first day of the season, will again be absent for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Chelsea.
The midfielder returned to light training with the Arsenal first team after the international break but, having seen two weeks pass since his first involvement, the 25-year-old is still not available for selection.
Having seen his longstanding central midfield team-mate Jack Wilshere leave the club on loan in a bid to put an end to his injury nightmare, Arsene Wenger is taking a cautious approach with Ramsey in an attempt not to cause further damage to his hamstring.
That being said, the Frenchman is becoming frustrated with Ramsey’s slow progress and is unsure when the star midfielder will be fit enough to return to the fold, according to the Sun.
Ramsey had been carrying a slight strain heading into the Premier League 4-3 defeat to Liverpool and limped off after 60 minutes.
The Welshman has already missed six games in all competitions.
