Theo Walcott reaches major career milestone at Arsenal
Theo Walcott has reached 100 career goals after finding the net in Arsenal’s 4-1 victory over Hull City on Saturday.

The 27-year-old put the Gunners 2-0 ahead after he raced on to Alex Iwobi’s backheeled pass to chip nearly over Eldin Jakupovic.

Alexis Sanchez’s double, plus Granit Xhaka’s excellent long-range effort late on, sealed the win for Arsene Wenger’s side, who are five points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City.

And for Walcott, his 100th goal has come in his 13th season as a professional player.

The forward scored in his full first-team debut for Southampton against Leeds United in October 2005.

Walcott’s first goal at international level came as the first in his impressive hat-trick in England’s 4-1 victory over Croatia in September 2008.

In 11 Premier League campaigns, Walcott has scored 57 goals – an average of just over five per season.
