Alex Iwobi reveals Arsenal’s hardest trainer

Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi has claimed that Mohamed Elneny is the gunners’ hardest training player – and not Alexis Sanchez. 

Alexis Sanchez has become renowned for his hard-working approach and has earned plenty of new admirers for his energetic displays for Arsenal following his transfer to the north London club from Barcelona in the summer of 2014. 

However, Alex Iwobi says that Egypt star Elneny out-words most of the squad with his tireless displays in training.

Speaking in an interview with FourFourTwo,Iwobi said of Elneny: 

“He’s just everywhere. “He runs so much in training. And it shows in the match that he covers a lot of distance.” 

Iwobi and his Arsenal team-mates will this week turn their attentions back to Premier League affairs after the international break, as Arsene Wenger’s men prepare to host Swansea City at The Emirates on Saturday. 

Arsenal are currently in third place in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders Manchester City after their 1-0 win at Burnley before the international break.
