Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko are on the verge of finalising a heavyweight clash with a date set for December 10.
The bout will see Joshua, unbeaten in the 17 fights of his career so far, defend his IBF title while the WBA belt vacated by Tyson Fury could also be up for grabs.
Fury won the WBA strap – as well as the IBF, the WBO and Ring magazine titles –when he ended Klitschko's 11-year undefeated streak last November.
However, the troubled boxer voluntarily gave up his heavyweight crowns on Wednesday night due to problems with drug-taking and depression, resulting in him losing his licence on a temporary basis.
