Chelsea join Donnarumma chase

Chelsea have joined Juventus and Real Madrid in the race for Italian wonderkid goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. 

The 17-year-old, who recently made his senior Italy debut, has been touted as Gianluigi Buffon's long-term successor and according to Italian media a summer price tag of €40 million has now rised to between €60-70m. 

Donnarumma is expected to sign a new contract with AC Milan on his 18th birthday, on February 25, 2017, while his agent Mino Raiola recently described the shot-stopper as a "masterpiece".
