Karim Benzema to discover fate of sex tape blackmail charge on December 16

Karim Benzema will discover his fate in regards to his blackmail case on December 16.

Benzema is accused of blackmailing team-mate Mathieu Valbuena over a sex tape, which saw him miss out on Euro 2016. 

Benzema was left out of France's Euro 2016 squad as a result of the charge and Dider Deschamps has suggested he will not be recalled. 

“I take decisions which I consider to be for the good of the national team,” he said last month.
