Liverpool and Tottenham step up Hector interest

Premier League duo Liverpool and Tottenham will step up their scouting of Koln left-back jonas Hector in the wake of serious interest from Inter Milan, according to reports. 

Hector have been a long-term Premier League target, with his club slamming a £27 million transfer price. 

However, Inter Milan are serious about their refurbishment as they look to challenge once again for the Serie A title. 

They see the Germany international as a perfect fit for their project. 

As such, both Liverpool and Spurs must now decide if they will match the Nerazzurri's bid for Hector after initially refusing to pay over £20m.
