Michael Owen states his prediction for Burnley vs Arsenal clash

Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen is tipping Theo Walcott to fire Arsenal to victory over Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday. 

Arsenal head into the game looking to make it five successive Premier League wins after their impressive 3-0 victory over Chelsea at The Emirates last weekend. 

The gunners followed up that win with an equally impressive 2-0 victory over FC Basel at the Emirates in the Champions League in midweek.

Arsene Wenger’s men have been in fine form in recent weeks and head into this weekend’s fixtures five points behind early leaders Manchester City. 

Theo Walcott scored both of Arsenal’s goals against FC Basel in midweek and Owen is backing the England man to continue his fine form at Turf Moor. 

Writing in his blog for Bet Victor, Owen said: 

“The Clarets were very good value for the points when taking the game to Watford at Turf Moor on Monday, but they are likely to play a less expansive game against the Gunners who have pace to burn and are playing very well at the moment. 

“Theo Walcott impressed me at the Emirates in midweek in the Champions League and he is in good goal-scoring form of late; he can continue his excellent run of form.”
