Free-scoring Tammy Abraham will push for a place in Chelsea's first team when he returns from his loan spell at Bristol City and is hoping to emulate the success of Marcus Rashford at Manchester United.

Abraham, prolific for Chelsea's youth sides, has been in sensational form in the Championship with City, scoring 11 goals in 16 matches.

They play local rivals Cardiff City on Friday evening. It comes after he marked his first start for the England Under 21 side with two goals as they thrashed Bosnia 5-0 on Tuesday.

Abraham said: 'Rashford is a good example for all the youngsters really. He is just a great player and he is getting a chance and he is performing.

'Every time you get that chance out on the pitch, you just have to give your all and hopefully the chances will keep coming.

'I've played against him. I played against him two weeks before his debut and it was phenomenal.

'We knew he was a danger for his team. This was at the Under 18 level in the Youth Cup and a few weeks' later he went out and won the actual FA Cup so that was a dream for him and I'm happy for him.'
