Tottenham willing to pay €45m for Real Madrid midfielder Isco

Tottenham are willing to pay a club-record €45 million (£40m) to sign Isco from Real Madrid in January, according to Sport. 

Isco have struggled for game time this season, making just two starts this season, and was the subject of an enquiry from Mauricio Pochettino during the summer transfer window. 

Real Madrid are open to a sale, while a loan with an obligation to buy is also an option. 

Isco has already addressed the need to move on should first-team opportunities continue to be limited.
