Borussia Dortmund have scored more goals in the group stages than any other side in Champions League history.
The German outfit fought back from 2-0 down to secure a draw at the Santiago Bernabeu in order to top Group F and became the Champions League’s top scorers at this stage in the process.
Their two goals against Real Madrid took their tally to 21 goals in the group stages – a competition record.
Dortmund are now one of only four teams to score more than 20 goals in the group stages, along with Manchester United (1998-99), Barcelona (2011-12, 2016-17) and Real Madrid (2013-14) all scoring 20 in the past.
