Leonardo Bonucci snubs Chelsea and Manchester City by signing new contract at Juventus

Leonardo Bonucci has snubbed the advances of Chelsea and Manchester City to signed a new deal at Juventus. 

The defender has extended his contract by 12 months to 2021, just a year after committing himself to a fresh five-year stay. 

The highly rated Italian was a target for Manchester City last summer with Etihad CEO Ferran Soriano claiming he had called the club in a bid to engineer a move. 

Chelsea were also interested in bringing the 29-year-old to the Premier League but boss Antonio Conte will now have to look elsewhere. 

Bonucci joined Juventus in 2010 and has made 291 appearances for the Serie A leaders.
