Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini spotted in Milan

Marouane Fellaini could be heading through the Manchester United exit door in January, when the transfer window reopens. 

The Belgian did little to dampen speculation surrounding a potential move to AC Milan, after being pictured in the Italian city with his brother Mansour on Monday. 

The 29-year-old was spotted checking out the Italian fashion capital, with the player's future at Old Trafford seemingly over. 

It's believed Fellaini has spoken to United teammates about a potential move away from the north west, and a potential new challenge in Serie A with the Rossoneri interested. 

United would prefer to sell outright, and recoup some of their £27million outlay, however the Italians' would be more keen on an initial loan move, with an option to purchase next summer. 

Fellaini has 18 months left on his £120,000-a-week deal at United and the club are said to have little interest in offering him a new contract. 

He has made 109 appearances for the club since his move from Everton in 2013, scoring 13 goals.
