Suarez signs new Barcelona contract until 2021

Luis Suarez has signed a lucrative contract extension at Barcelona which will earn the striker a whopping £230,000 per week. 

The Uruguayan, who has scored 97 goals and contributed 48 assists since joining Barca in 2014, is now tied to the Spanish giants until 2021. 

Suarez signed his new deal at the Nou Camp on Friday. 'I am feeling overjoyed about being where I want to be. I feel very happy,' Suarez said. 

'It was the decision that we all wanted, both the club and me, we have a great relationship. 

'Any player would want to end their career at a club where they feel comfortable. We'll have to see, but I will never lose either my ambition or my enthusiasm'.
