Tottenham continue to tie down their key squad members to long term deals with defender Jan Vertonghen the latest to put pen to paper until 2019.
Jan Vertonghen, whose previous £60,000-a-week contract was due to expire in 2018, is set to earn a salary boost closer to the £100,000 benchmark for likes of top earners Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris .
