Chelsea boss Antonio Conte reveals plans for Nathan Ake

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has revealed his plans for Nathan Ake after recalling the full back from his loan spell at Bournemouth. 

Nathan Ake was originally going to spent the entire season with Eddie Howe’s Cherries after joining the club on loan in June. 

But Conte has been impressed by the Dutchman’s recent form and said Ake has proved he deserves to be in the Chelsea squad. 

And the Italian is willing to try Ake out in several positions in an effort to utilise the 21-year-old. 

Following Chelsea’s 4-1 FA Cup thrashing against Peterborough, Conte said: ‘Nathan has been recalled from loan because he has shown he deserved to be in the Chelsea squad.’ 

Conte revealed Ake could play in the back three in his much-beloved 3-4-3 system, or in midfield where the Dutch star has admitted he enjoys playing.
