Paris Saint-Germain's £166million Kylian Mbappe deal is now complete

French sensation Kylian Mbappe's loan at Paris Saint-Germain will 100 per cent become a permanent deal in the summer - after the former League Champions met an odd clause in his contract. 

Mbappe has netted 13 times for the Parisians since joining on a season long loan from Monaco last year - the deal made temporary to circumnavigate financial fair play rules. 

PSG agreed a £166million deal to make the transfer permanent at the end of this season - but it included a strange clause. 

For the agreement to be completed Unai Emery's side needed to stay up in Ligue 1 and avoid relegation - something the club has only down once and that was in 1972 in the outfit's second season. 

PSG confirmed their place in the French tier for next season on saturday and are therefore obliged to splash the cash on the 19-year-old wonderkid.
