JAMIE CARRAGHER says Chelsea lacks Class

Chelsea Captain John Terry has reached the end of his contract with the club and is is yet to agree to the terms of the one year extension offered to him. 

Jamie Carragher insists that a player like Terry, who has been integral to the club’s success, deserved more. 

Carragher said “He’s been an integral part of what Chelsea have done over the last 10 years or so, the success they’ve had and the trophies they’ve won. The one criticism you’d have of the club at times, plenty of times, is they’ve lacked a little bit of class in different situations.” 

Carragher insisted the way the club has handled the situation, wasn’t the best send off for him.”To come out with a statement three or four days ago that they’d offered him a contract, it felt to me that they were backing him into a corner when it should be something they do together, whatever that may be,” he said.
