Michael Owen states his prediction for Arsenal vs Aston Villa clash

Manchester United striker Michael Owen is backing Arsenal to finish a disappointing season with a clean sheet and three points against Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon. 

Arsenal have endured a poor campaign after their Premier League title bid shattered in the second half of the 2015/16 season. 

The gunner's also made premature exits in the Champions League, the FA Cup and the League Cup to finish the campaign without any silverware. 

However,Arsenal do have the chance to finish above Tottenham if the Gunners beat Villa and Spurs lose to relegated Newcastle United on the final day of the season. 

“Hard to see past a home win at the Emirates and I don’t think Villa will give Petr Cech too much to worry about,” Owen told BetVictor. 

Arsenal are two points behind second-placed Tottenham ahead of the visit of Villa to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
