Lukas Podolski defends boss Joachim Low for scratching his balls

Lukas Podolski has defended boss Joachim Low after the circulating video of manager Joachim Low ahead of Germany's upcoming clash against Poland. 

Low appeared to touch his private parts before smelling his hands while watching Germany defeat Ukraine 2-0 on Sunday. 

He was later spotted scratching his bum-bum before giving his fingers a sniff during the game. 

But Podolski had a humorous take on the incident, which has gone viral across social media, when he was asked about it during a press conference on Tuesday. 

'It's not an issue,' Podolski said. 'About 80 percent of you here have at some point scratched your balls. Therefore, everything is good.
