Newcastle United demanding over £14million for midfielder Moussa Sissoko

Championship outfit Newcastle United are refusing to let midfielder Moussa Sissoko go for anything less than £14m. 

Mousa Sissoko has expressed a desire to leave the magpies this summer after they were relegated to the Championship last season. 

Bundesliga side Hamburg have already submitted an offer of £9.5million, while teams in France are interested too. 

However, according to L'Equipe, Newcastle are unwilling to do a deal unless negotiations start around the £14m mark. 

The Magpies are reluctant to part with the France international and will only do so if they receive an offer they deem acceptable. 

Sissoko has previously confessed it would be his dream to play for Arsenal - but no approached has been forthcoming from them yet.
