It may feel like history repeating itself with Wenger having a long list of previous transfer targets who haven't ended up at The Emirates.
There are currently three bids from Arsenal that haven't been accepted by other clubs and Arsenal fans are feeling frustrated and anxious to see if they will be able to sign Valencia central defender Shkodran Mustafi, Leicester City's PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, who scored a hat-trick on the opening weekend of Ligue 1.
Mustafi is valued at £30million by Valencia - £10million more than Wenger believes he is worth.
A £29m offer for Lacazette has been rejected by his French club while Leicester City have reminded Arsenal that Mahrez doesn't have a release clause in his contract, and it could take £50m to take him from the King Power.
