Celtic could face UEFA charge after display of Palestinian flags

Scottish outfit Celtic could face another UEFA charge after a number of fans waved Palestinian flags during Wednesday's game with Hapoel Be’er Sheva. 

The Parkhead club were known to be concerned about the ramifications of political statements being made inside a sporting arena. 

While there were no widespread or sustained protests, the fact around 30 such flags were in evidence in the standing section could lead to another charge. 

The governing body’s rule book prohibits politics entering stadiums. 

Celtic have already been fined a total of £190,000 for a variety of offences over 11 games since 2007.
