Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius steps up recovery from broken hand

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has stepped up his recovery as he bids to return from the broken hand which ruined the start of his Anfield career. 

Loris Karius cost Liverpool £5million when he arrived from Mainz in June and Jurgen Klopp had intended to start him between the posts on the opening weekend at Arsenal. 

An injury suffered in pre-season put those plans on the back seat, with Karius initially ruled out for a period of two months. 

The goalkeeper posted a video to his Instagram account on Wednesday showing he was back in the gym with the caption: 'Well, any good comeback needs countless gym hours first.'
